Applications & Selection Guide

U profiles are roll-formed plain channels without lips, from 100 to 400 mm web height in 1.5–4 mm. Every size page lists the strip width, weight and section properties from the mill’s table.

Typical uses: top and bottom tracks in light steel framing, edge and closure channels for panels, guides, machine guards and general fabrication.

Materials: black steel S235, S355, S420, S450 and S500; pre-galvanized S350GD+Z275, S420GD+Z275 and Aluzinc; and Magnelis S350GD, S420GD and S450GD with ZM310 or ZM350 coating. Profiles are rolled on continuous roll-forming lines in lengths up to 25 m, with holes punched to your drawing. The minimum order is 5 t per size and material. Production holds an EN 1090-1 factory production control certificate (CE marking, structural components up to execution class EXC2 to EN 1090-2) and ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 certification.
