Steel Sigma Plus Profile

Sigma Plus (Σ+) profiles are cold roll-formed sections to EN 10162 with a deep mid-web indent and the same fixed double lip as C+ (25+15 mm). The indented web moves the shear centre toward the centroid and stiffens the section against buckling, while the double lips protect the flange tips — so Sigma+ carries more load than a standard Sigma or C of similar weight. We roll to order from pre-galvanized S350GD+Z strip (EN 10346) or uncoated S235JR–S355JR cold-rolled strip.

Sigma Plus is preferred for heavy purlins, columns and long-span rafters on industrial buildings, warehouses and agricultural structures where weight optimization and high capacity both matter. Hole punching and marking follow your drawings. Sizes with nominal weights are in the table above; each variant page renders the exact dimensioned Σ+ cross-section for engineering review.

Produced to order in any length from 1 to 15 m, with a minimum run of approximately 500 kg per size and coating.
