Hot-rolled UPE parallel-flange U-channel in structural grade S235JR to EN 10025, dimensions to EN 10365 (formerly DIN 1026-2). Unlike tapered-flange UPN (NPU), UPE flanges are parallel — easier bolted connections without taper washers. Designations UPE 80–UPE 400. Standard stock length 12 m. Used for frames, stringers, machine chassis, trailers, and bracing.

UPE channels are European parallel-flange U-sections to EN 10365 (formerly DIN 1026-2), hot-rolled in structural grade S235JR. Compared with tapered-flange UPN (NPU), the parallel flanges simplify bolted cleats and avoid taper washers — the preferred choice for many new fabrications.
Use UPE for stringers, frame rails, machine chassis, trailer members, racking, and bracing. Where an existing specification or trolley requires the tapered UPN profile, select UPN instead. Designations UPE 80–UPE 400 with kg/m are listed in the size table above.
Standard mill length is 12 m, quoted per length. State the designation (e.g. UPE 200), quantity, and destination in your quote request; mill certificates to EN 10204 3.1 are available on request.
