ISO 898-1 property class 4.8 fully threaded carbon-steel rod to DIN 975 / DIN 976, ISO metric coarse pitch, supplied in 1 m stock lengths. Nominal tensile strength 400 MPa (yield ≈ 320 MPa) — the economical continuous-thread bar for light hangers, clamps, and fabricated studs. Diameters M4–M64 are listed above.
Cut to length on site for pipe hangers, cable trays, light machinery levelling, and general fabrication. Pair with class 5 hex nuts (DIN 934) and Form A washers; a coupling nut (DIN 6334 class 5) joins two rods when a longer stud is needed. For higher-load supports and plant anchoring step up to class 8.8 rod. Zinc electroplating or hot-dip galvanizing can be quoted for exposed service.
