Applications & Selection Guide

Welded rectangular tube in AISI 316L (1.4404) to EN 10217-7. The molybdenum-bearing grade is chosen over 304 where chlorides, a coastal climate or cleaning chemicals are present.

It is used for frames, handrail posts and equipment in marine, pool, food and pharmaceutical settings. Sizes run from 20×10 mm to 80×40 mm with walls of 1–2 mm.
