The 260x88x3.5mm steel Sigma Plus profile is a cold roll-formed Σ+ section to EN 10162 with a deep stiffened 260 mm web, 88 mm flanges, fixed 25+15 mm double lips and 3.5 mm sheet thickness, weighing a nominal 14.96 kg/m. Produced to order in uncoated S355JR steel, the Sigma+ indent and double lips raise buckling resistance for heavy purlins, columns and long-span structures. This variant is uncoated cold-rolled structural strip in grade S355JR (EN 10025), minimum yield about 355 MPa. Choose it when the same section has to carry more load than S235JR. The surface is bare — specify paint or hot-dip galvanizing in the quote for outdoor use.

Sigma+ 260x88x3.5 is the weight-optimized choice for heavy purlins, columns and long-span rafters where a standard Sigma or C is not enough. The deep web indent and double lips allow thinner material for the same performance, cutting steel cost and foundation loads on industrial and agricultural buildings. S355JR is the higher-strength uncoated grade for load-bearing purlins, columns and frames where S235JR would need a heavier section. At a nominal 14.96 kg/m and cut-to-length production from 1 to 15 m, material usage is optimized with no offcuts on site.
