ASTM A500 round HSS is cold-formed, electric-resistance welded structural tubing: the standard round section for steel buildings, canopies, columns, handrails, towers and equipment frames in the US and Latin American markets. It is offered in Grade B (minimum yield 42 ksi / 290 MPa) and Grade C (46 ksi / 315 MPa).
Outside diameters run from 0.68" to 16" (17.2–406.4 mm) with walls from 0.063" to 0.750" (1.6–19.05 mm). Each size page lists the grades it is rolled in, the inch dimensions, the weight in lb/ft and kg/m, and section properties calculated with the AISC design wall of 0.93 × nominal. The internal weld bead can be removed on most sizes from 2.37" OD.
Standard length is 6 m (about 20 ft); special lengths are available on request. The minimum order is 10 t per size; if the size is already in production, we can accept orders from 5 t. We ship from Türkiye to US and Latin American ports with mill test reports.
