Cold drawn from sand-blasted hot-rolled bar. Drawing gives a bright, scale-free surface, sharper edges and tighter dimensional tolerances than hot-rolled bar, so parts can go straight to machining. The grades are the same as for hot-rolled bar: S235JR to S355J2, ASTM A36 and A572, and SAE 1010 to 1060 including SAE 1045 (C45).
Diameters from 6 mm to 120 mm, supplied as straight bright bar for shafts, pins, spindles, bolts and turned parts.
Standard lengths are 3 m and 6 m; other lengths on request. The minimum order is 5 t per size. Grade, tolerances and lead time are confirmed in our quotation. The mill works to ISO 9001, its products carry CE conformity, and each delivery comes with a mill test certificate.
