The 50x50x2mm steel Omega (hat) profile is cold roll-formed to EN 10162 with a 50 mm height, 50 mm crown and 2 mm sheet thickness, weighing a nominal 3.00 kg/m. Produced to order in uncoated S235JR steel, its outward feet provide a flat fixing face on both sides — the standard rail for solar panel mounting, facade furring and sheet-metal substructures.
Omega 50x50x2 mounts solar panels on trapezoidal and sandwich roofs, levels facade cladding as a furring profile, stiffens large sheet-metal panels, and builds conveyor and machine substructures. Both feet sit flat on the support, spreading load evenly and allowing fast one-sided fixing. At a nominal 3.00 kg/m and cut-to-length production from 1 to 15 m, material usage is optimized with no offcuts on site.
