ISO 898-1 property class 10.9 construction hex bolts to DIN 7990. Large across-flats versus a DIN 931 of the same diameter, typically partial thread, listed M12–M30. This is still not the pretensioned HV system (DIN 6914 + 6915 + 6916).
Use when the steelwork specification calls for 10.9 DIN 7990 — still not the HV pretension system. HV is DIN 6914 + DIN 6915 + DIN 6916 as a set. Confirm coating of 10.9 construction bolts (hydrogen embrittlement / HDG process). Mate with class 10 nuts and the specified washers.
