Profile Section
220x91x2.5mm S355JR Uncoated Steel C Plus Profile
The 220x91x2.5mm steel C Plus profile is a cold roll-formed double-lipped channel to EN 10162 with a 220 mm web, 91 mm flanges, fixed 25+15 mm double edge lips and 2.5 mm sheet thickness, weighing a nominal 9.46 kg/m. Produced to order in uncoated S355JR steel, the C+ geometry carries higher loads than a standard C of similar weight — used as heavy purlins, columns and beams in industrial and light steel buildings. This variant is uncoated cold-rolled structural strip in grade S355JR (EN 10025), minimum yield about 355 MPa. Choose it when the same section has to carry more load than S235JR. The surface is bare — specify paint or hot-dip galvanizing in the quote for outdoor use.
Made to Order — Roll Formed
This profile is roll-formed to order in your exact length (1–15 m; longer on project basis). Minimum production run is approx. 3000 kg per size and grade. Add your sizes to a quote request and our team confirms lead time and pricing within one business day.

Applications & Usage
C+ 220x91x2.5 is typically specified for load-bearing purlins, stringcourses and facade rails on heavy industrial buildings, and as columns, beams and roof trusses in warehouses, hangars and light-gauge steel frames. Mounting holes are punched in-line to your drawing; the double-lip section pairs with bolted cleats for fast assembly. S355JR is the higher-strength uncoated grade for load-bearing purlins, columns and frames where S235JR would need a heavier section. At a nominal 9.46 kg/m and cut-to-length production from 1 to 15 m, material usage is optimized with no offcuts on site. Minimum production run is approximately 3000 kg per size and grade — add your sizes to a quote request and our team confirms exact tonnage, lead time and delivered pricing.

Indicative elastic section properties computed from the nominal centerline (thin-walled, corner radii ignored). For preliminary sizing only — not a substitute for a stamped structural calculation.
Indicative load span (single span, simply supported)
Allowable uniformly-distributed load (kN/m) limited by elastic bending about the strong axis (γ = 1.5 on yield, S355JR). Deflection is not checked and usually governs long spans. Indicative only — confirm with a project calculation.
