220x80x2.5mm S350GD+Z Galvanized Steel Z Profile
The 220x80x2.5mm steel Z profile is a cold roll-formed purlin section to EN 10162 with a 220 mm web, opposed 80 mm flanges with 25 mm edge lips and 2.5 mm sheet thickness, weighing a nominal 8.44 kg/m. Produced to order in galvanized S350GD+Z steel, the Z geometry nests and overlaps at supports, forming structurally continuous roof and wall purlin lines that carry more load with less steel. This variant is pre-galvanized structural strip S350GD+Z275 to EN 10346, minimum yield about 350 MPa. The zinc coating is already on the coil, which is why this is the standard grade for outdoor purlins and solar structures.

Applications & Usage
Z 220x80x2.5 carries roof and wall cladding on industrial halls, warehouses, agricultural buildings and solar carports; overlapped and bolted at supports it forms continuous multi-span purlin lines. Cleat and overlap holes are punched in-line to your purlin schedule, and anti-sag accessories are configured per project. S350GD+Z275 is the usual specification for solar mounting, roof and wall purlins, and any outdoor structure that needs a structural yield plus a zinc coating from the mill. At a nominal 8.44 kg/m and cut-to-length production from 1 to 15 m, material usage is optimized with no offcuts on site.
