EN 10219 steel pipe is a cold-formed, electric-resistance welded circular hollow section in S235JRH, S275J0H and S355J2H. It is used for structural frames, columns, scaffolding, handrails, fencing, machinery and general industrial piping.
Outside diameters run from Ø17.2 mm to Ø406.4 mm with walls from 1.5 mm to 16 mm; each size page lists the grades it is rolled in. Diameter is held to ±0.5 mm below Ø50 mm and ±1% above, walls to ±10% up to 5 mm, and ovality to 2%. EN 10219 is a structural standard; for pressure service, ask for pipe to EN 10217-1 or ASTM A53.
Standard length is 6 m; special lengths from 4 m to 12 m are available on request. Ends are mill cut; bevelled ends, internal weld removal, a galvanizing-ready surface and hydrostatic testing can be agreed at order. The minimum order is 10 t per size; if the size is already in production, we can accept orders from 5 t.
