Standard length 6 m, special lengths from 4 m to 12 m on request. Supplied black, with a red-oxide primer, or hot-dip galvanized.

Rectangular hollow sections are cold-formed and electric-resistance welded to EN 10219, in S235JRH, S275J0H and S355J2H. The deeper side adds bending stiffness in one plane, which is why this section is used for beams, lintels, purlins, trailer and chassis frames, and machine bases.
Sizes are given height × width, from 30×20 mm to 500×450 mm, with walls from 1.5 mm to 18 mm. Each size page lists the grades it is rolled in; the thickest walls of a few sizes stop at S275. Outside dimensions are held to ±0.5 mm below 50 mm, ±1% from 50 to 100 mm, ±0.8% up to 200 mm and ±0.6% above; walls to ±10% up to 5 mm. The internal weld bead can be removed on most sizes from 60×40 mm.
Standard length is 6 m; special lengths from 4 m to 12 m are available on request. Sections are supplied black, with a red-oxide primer, or hot-dip galvanized. The minimum order is 10 t per size; if the size is already in production, we can accept orders from 5 t. Send height × width × wall, grade, finish, quantity and destination in a quote request.
