Stainless Steel Threaded Rod 316 (A4)

A4-70 (AISI 316) fully threaded stainless rod to DIN 975 / DIN 976 in 1 m stock lengths. The molybdenum addition in 316 resists pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride environments where A2 rod would eventually stain or pit.

Specify A4 rod for marine and offshore fixings, swimming-pool and spa installations, road-tunnel and de-icing-salt exposure, and chemical plant supports. Combine with A4 nuts and washers — mixing A2 and A4 in one joint sacrifices the corrosion benefit. Available metric diameters are listed above.
