Solid round bar in AISI 316L (1.4404) to EN 10278 and EN 10060. The molybdenum content gives better resistance to chlorides and pitting than 304, and the low carbon grade suits welded parts.
It is used for marine hardware, pump and valve shafts, chemical and pharmaceutical equipment and parts exposed to salt or cleaning chemicals. Diameters run from Ø3 mm to Ø100 mm.
