Specify class 8.8 for machine bases, conveyor frames, plant equipment, racking, and general load-bearing steelwork. Full thread maximises engagement options in the DIN 933 length range; for longer assemblies that benefit from an unthreaded shank, ask about DIN 931 (ISO 4014) in the same property class. Use class 8 nuts and hardened washers as the joint design requires.
