High-strength ERW square hollow section in S355J2H (legacy ST52 / St52-3). Minimum yield about 355 MPa and tensile typically 490–630 MPa — roughly 50% stronger than S235 for load-bearing work. EN 10219 hollow sections. Sizes commonly from about 25×25 mm to 250×250 mm with walls from about 1.2 mm to 10 mm. Standard length 6 m. Used in construction, bridges, machine frames, and heavy fabrication.

ST52 square hollow sections are ERW-welded to EN 10219 in grade S355J2H (legacy ST52 / St52-3). Minimum yield is about 355 MPa — roughly 50% above S235JR — so the same outer size carries more load, or a smaller section replaces a heavier S235 member.
Specify ST52 where frames, columns, crane beams, or machine structures are weight- or space-critical. Charpy impact at −20 °C (the J2 requirement) suits colder service and more demanding specifications than JR. If the job is general fabrication without a yield or impact call-out, S235JR square box is the economical default.
Standard length 6 m, quoted per length. Include size, quantity, destination, and any certificate requirement in your quote request; we confirm availability and delivered pricing.
