Steel Set Screw

ISO 898-5 hardness class 45H hex-socket set screws (grub screws) to DIN 916 / ISO 4029, cup point. Headless — the entire body is threaded — so the screw sits inside a tapped hole and the cup bites the shaft. Listed M3–M10.

Used to lock collars, pulleys, gears, knobs, and adjustable stops on round shafts. Cup point is the general-purpose tip; it marks the shaft. Set screws are not tensile bolts — do not use them to clamp two plates together. Class 45H is a hardness designation (ISO 898-5), not an ISO 898-1 4.8/8.8/10.9 property class.
