Steel Rivet Nut

Zinc-plated carbon-steel cylinder flat-head open-end rivet nuts (blind nuts / nutserts). Installed from one side of a tube or sheet with a rivet-nut tool; the body upsets and leaves a reusable metric internal thread. Open-end, flat head. Listed M5–M10.

The way to put a nut into thin wall tube, cabinets, and sheet too thin to tap. Open-end means a bolt can pass through if the hole behind is clear; closed-end inserts (not this product) seal the hole. Grip range must match sheet thickness — say the material thickness in the enquiry if you are unsure. Not an anchor for concrete.
