Hot-rolled steel flat bar (strip / lama) in S235JR to EN 10025, dimensions to EN 10058. A rectangular solid section with mill edges, used wherever a plate strip is needed without cutting it from sheet.
Typical work: brackets, fishplates, stiffeners, base plates, lintel plates, and general fabrication. Compared with sheet, flat bar arrives as a ready width × thickness, so there is no nested cutting waste on long runs of the same section. Standard stock length is typically 6 m; thicker or wider sizes may differ — see the table above.
