Carbon Steel Weld Neck Flange

Carbon steel weld-neck flanges to EN 1092-1 (Type 11) with a tapered hub butt-welded to the pipe. The gradual hub transition transfers bending and pressure stresses smoothly into the pipe wall, giving the highest joint integrity of any flange type.

Weld-necks are specified on process lines, steam systems, cyclic and vibrating service, and wherever radiographic weld inspection is required. The bore is matched to the pipe ID for uninterrupted flow — important on erosive or high-velocity lines. Choose PN class and DN from the table above; the pipe schedule should be stated at order so the hub bore matches.
