Carbon Steel Pipe Cap

Carbon steel butt-weld pipe caps to EN 10253 / ASME B16.9 — ellipsoidal end closures with a bevelled edge welded directly onto the pipe end for a permanent, pressure-tight termination.

Caps terminate headers and future-expansion stubs, close vessels and pig launchers, and blank lines during hydrostatic testing. Unlike a blind flange, a welded cap is permanent and gasket-free — choose it where the line will not need reopening; choose a blind flange where periodic access is required.
