Carbon steel eccentric reducers for pump suction and drainage-sensitive diameter changes where a flat side avoids air or liquid pockets. Quoted and sold per piece.
23 sizes available
Carbon steel eccentric reducers to EN 10253 / ASME B16.9, transitioning between diameters with one side kept flat. Installed flat-side-up they prevent air pockets; flat-side-down they maintain constant bottom-of-pipe elevation for drainage.
The classic application is horizontal pump suction piping — flat side up eliminates the air pocket that causes cavitation and NPSH problems. They are equally used on pipe racks where a common support elevation must be held through diameter changes. Choose the large × small OD combination from the table above and note the installation orientation on your isometrics.
Quoted and sold per piece. Include both ODs, quantity, and destination in your quote request for pricing and availability.
