Carbon steel concentric reducers keep the centreline aligned when changing pipe diameter on welded lines. Typical on vertical runs, pump discharges, and layout-critical transitions. Quoted and sold per piece.
28 sizes available
Carbon steel concentric reducers to EN 10253 / ASME B16.9, joining two pipe diameters on a common centreline with bevelled ends for butt welding. The symmetric cone keeps flow evenly distributed around the full circumference.
Concentric reducers are the default diameter transition in vertical lines and in horizontal lines where a level pipe soffit is not required: pump discharge sides, header steps, and general distribution. On horizontal pump suction lines, use an eccentric reducer instead to avoid trapping air at the top of the pipe. Size combinations (large OD × small OD) are in the table above.
Quoted and sold per piece. Send both ODs, quantity, and delivery country in a quote request; unlisted combinations can often be sourced on request.
