Carbon steel butt-weld 45° elbows for smoother directional changes with lower pressure drop than a sharp 90° turn. Used on welded carbon lines in process, heating, and industrial utility systems. Quoted and sold per piece.
1 sizes available
Carbon steel 45° butt-weld elbows to EN 10253 / ASME B16.9 with weld-bevelled ends. The 45° angle produces a gentler direction change than a 90° bend, roughly halving the local pressure loss and reducing erosion in abrasive or high-velocity service.
Use 45° elbows for offset routing around obstacles, gradual slope changes on drainage and gravity lines, and paired 45s where a smooth S-offset beats a single hard 90°. They are standard in process piping, HVAC distribution, and fuel and water systems. Select the OD from the table above to match your run pipe.
Quoted and sold per piece. Include OD, quantity, and delivery country in your quote request; combining all fittings and flanges for a project in one enquiry gets you consolidated pricing and freight.
