Description

The 17.6mm x 11mm x 1.6mm aluminium U channel is a compact, precision-extruded profile manufactured from EN AW-6063 alloy in T5 temper. Its 17.6 mm base width and 11 mm leg height provide a low-profile design, while the 1.6 mm wall thickness offers added rigidity and durability without excessive weight.

This U channel is ideal for edging, panel retention, display construction, and light framing applications in furniture, shopfitting, and architectural projects. It machines easily—allowing for cutting, drilling, and shaping—and is supplied in 6-metre standard lengths with a smooth mill finish.

Anodising or powder coating is available upon request to enhance corrosion resistance and visual appeal.
