Aluminium Flat Bar 40mm x 3mm
Description
The 40mm x 3mm aluminium flat bar is a versatile medium-weight extrusion profile made from EN AW-6063 aluminium alloy in T6 temper. With its wide 40 mm face and 3 mm thickness, it offers a strong balance of surface coverage and structural rigidity—suitable for a broad range of fabrication, framing, and reinforcement applications.
This profile is commonly used in architectural trims, machine guards, panel supports, custom brackets, and modular assembly systems. The 3 mm thickness provides sufficient stiffness for light-to-moderate mechanical loads, while the 40 mm width ensures a stable mounting surface in various horizontal and vertical orientations.
Supplied with a clean mill finish, the bar can be easily cut, drilled, or machined using standard or CNC equipment. Anodised and powder-coated options are available to meet project-specific aesthetic and durability requirements.
Each bar is supplied in 6-metre standard lengths. Cut-to-size and finishing services can be arranged for volume-based procurement.
We supply aluminium flat bars to manufacturers, fabricators, and contractors seeking consistent quality and reliable supply for their operations.
